You will own supply chain planning and execution, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment across production scheduling, inventory management, and logistics operations.
Production Planning & Finite Scheduling
- Maintain accurate finite schedules for all pacemakers
- Monitor and analyze production volume by major product group
- Maintain accurately dated production orders and provide strategic guidance to supervisors and managers on production priorities
Inventory & Material Management
- Plan raw material and subassembly needs and issue purchase orders to suppliers
- Monitor and disposition non-conforming product
- Manage slow-moving and surplus inventory to drive consumption or financial reservation
- Adjust perpetual inventories based on cycle counts
- Oversee receiving, packaging, finished goods management, customer-owned inventory, and shipping operations
Supplier & Procurement Coordination
- Routinely follow up on open purchase orders with suppliers
- Build strong supplier relationships
Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Leadership
Drive continuous improvement across local Supply Chain and related areas
Represent Supply Chain at daily tier meetings
Utilize training to build team capability and resilience
Ensure adherence to plant safety protocols and Rules of Conduct
Leading Your Team
You will provide direct leadership and development to a high-performing supply chain team, including one DC Manager, two Supply Chain Schedulers, and three Supply Chain Planners.
This role offers the opportunity to build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement while coaching a team that supports the uninterrupted operation of the factory.
What Makes You a Strong Fit
Required Experience & Education
- At least three years’ experience in finite production scheduling within an ERP system is strongly preferred
- At least one year experience each in raw material planning and freight planning is preferred
- A four-year degree in a business or technical field is preferred.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and business principles
