This posting is for all Supply Chain Management student positions in both Lima, OH, and Toledo, OH. After submitting your application, if you are selected to move forward in the process, you will receive a screening questionnaire where you can indicate your preferences.

What you’ll do:

Responsibilities may vary depending on the specific position assigned, but they may include:

Operations (Sourcing/Procurement):

  • Plan, negotiate, and manage the procurement of goods and services

  • Review and evaluate RFQs, identify cost reductions and work with suppliers and contractors

  • Review and revise agreements

  • Develop contracts and agreements, including writing terms and conditions

  • Prepare clear, concise, and effective written documents and correspondence

  • Interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, rules and laws

  • Research alleged contract violations

  • Identify and mitigate risk with contract language

  • Analyze spend patterns to identify opportunities for cost savings

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Employ excellent follow-up skills

Materials Management (Warehouse):

  • Support local material management activities including material requirement planning (MRP), obsolete/surplus material management, repairs/refurbishments, and cycle counting

  • Assist with data and Excel-based analysis to support projects related to inventory management and supply chain improvement with external suppliers and internal customers

  • Engage with Material Analyst and Master Data to support material data enhancement

  • Support/expedite material purchases to minimize delivery delays

  • Investigate receiving/invoicing discrepancies

  • Attend project related meetings

  • Support corporate and site-specific projects as they relate to Materials Management

  • Collaborate with the broader SCM Teams

Projects:

  • Create and maintain Requests for Quotes for MRP replenishment items

  • Support Contract Lifecycle Management

  • Support/expedite material purchases

  • Investigate receiving/invoicing discrepancies

  • Support the Procure-to-Pay process for goods and services

  • Identify cost reductions and mitigate risks

  • Support vendor setup and contract closeout processes

  • Collaborate with relevant parties to negotiate contracts

Who you are:

Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time for the duration of your work term and able to produce documentation upon request (e.g. passport, Social Security, etc.)

  • Available to begin work on or around September 8th, 2025

  • As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid U.S. driver's license is required

  • Previous experience is considered an asset

  • Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Education:

  • Must be enrolled in an Undergraduate Program studying Supply Chain, Business, Pre-Law, or related disciplines at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term

  • Candidates currently enrolled in either a Masters or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered

  • New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities

Working Conditions:

  • May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.

Safety Sensitive:

  • This may be a safety-sensitive role, and you will be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours. Furthermore, you will also be required to pass the pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirements

  • Safety sensitive positions may require the operation of a motor vehicle. Applicants may be asked to provide a valid U.S. driver’s license if offered the position

Relocation:

  • Students moving for their work term may be eligible to receive a lump sum payment to assist with relocation expenses
