The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst to join our Rotating Tools Team in Everett, Washington.
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist to apply advanced SCM methodologies and planning decisions that ensure coordination across the global supply chain. The successful candidate will analyze complex material requirements, verify and incorporate Bills of Material and schedules into production plans, optimize inventory, and drive process improvements to enhance SCM performance. Works under general direction and coordinates with senior internal and external stakeholders.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
Position Responsibilities:
Incorporate change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal supply chain solutions and apply SCM methodologies to coordinate activities across a global supply chain
Analyze complex material requirements, verify Bills of Material and schedules for production planning, and determine part number attributes while managing master data accuracy
Initiate, coordinate, and authorize release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability, ensure on-time delivery, and document/resolve order delinquencies while reporting schedule adherence issues
Develop and control inventory plans, optimize inventory levels, analyze and disposition excess inventory, and initiate audits related to materials management
Develop and create schedules for products and services, and assist in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
Implement and maintain process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management and lead related process improvement efforts
Represent Boeing as a primary contact on contracts or projects, interacting with senior internal and external personnel and coordinating cross-organizational activities
Apply comprehensive understanding of SCM practices, techniques, standards, principles, and concepts to develop solutions for a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies
Receive general direction, plan and schedule own activities to meet objectives, and exert influence on organizational objectives and long-range goals where erroneous decisions may have serious administrative impact
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
6+ years’ experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
6+ years of experience with BOM management, master data, and production scheduling
6+ years of experience Using Inventory optimization techniques, S&OP, and demand planning
6+ years of experience leading process improvement efforts and implementing best practices
6+ years of experience using Excel for advanced functions including data analysis tools
The ability to travel up to 10% annually
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
6+ years’ experience with global supplier coordination and logistics
Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/CPIM or related certifications
Experience in aerospace or defense supply chains
Strong communication, stakeholder coordination, and negotiation skills
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
