The Role:

The Supply Chain COE Manager provides leadership and strategic direction through management of supply chain planning activities, processes, and data/information and systems. They lead process and system development and implementation projects for the team. Projects are complex, cutting across organizational boundaries at the corporate level, business units, and across value chains globally. Identifies resources needed and develops project plans, influences stakeholders to gain support, and leads project teams to drive change. This person provides process and system training and support. Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives that optimize inventory turns, service levels, maximizes profitability, and supports dynamic changes in market conditions.

What You Will Do:

  • Research industry standards and best practices to benchmark various supply chain processes
  • Develop and implement improvements to supply chain metrics and performance standards using industry knowledge, analytics, and best business practices
  • Create dashboards and reports that depict supply chain performance
  • Identify and develop reporting to aid in end-to-end supply chain planning and execution activities.
  • Ensure that supply chain processes are accurately mapped
  • Identify process inefficiencies across the supply chain
  • Analyze system deficiencies and lead the execution of changes for improved performance
  • Lead and/or support trouble-shooting and problem resolution for supply chain issues impacting organizational objectives including service, cost, and cash
  • Develop tools that support existing and/or new processes
  • Develop SOPs and work instructions for new and/or improved processes
  • Develop training material and assist with training where requires

What You Will Bring:

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in process improvement, supply chain, and/or operations management Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience desirable.
  • Advanced Proficiency in manufacturing MRP and distribution DRP systems and processes. Implementation experience desired.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements, with the ability to effectively engage others as necessary to drive change and resolution on issues.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions on daily tactical tasks and strategic initiatives of high complexity and business impact, and to work in teams representing the supply chain POV.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, process mapping, and standard operating procedure (SOP) development
  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain management processes and functions
  • Ability to do analysis of tradeoffs between business objectives - ability to think systemically and solve complex problems through innovative thought
  • Advanced knowledge of data analytics, including the ability to analyze and synthesize data across multiple data sources
  • Strong computer skills and systems (SYSPRO/ERP, Power BI, SQL 
  • Ability to design, build, and deploy reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
