We are seeking a dedicated Supplier Quality Technician  join our team. This critical role will maintain inspection of incoming materials and components and supports the maintenance of supplier controls in partnership with the Supplier Quality Engineer and other operations team members. 

 Pay Range-$24-27 Depending on experience 

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs receiving inspection on incoming materials and components.
  • Retains and archives supplier material certificates, certificates of conformance, inspection data, etc. in accordance with applicable procedures.
  • Monitors and updates inspections plans in the ERP system based on engineering changes or supplier performance.
  • Identifies, segregates, and dispositions nonconforming materials received from suppliers.
  • Supports the Supplier Quality Engineer with: 
    • Determining supplier at fault issues identified in production
    • Gathering, reviewing, and retaining supplier PPAP deliverables
    • Communicating with suppliers in relation to nonconformance investigations and returns
    • Collecting supplier performance data for monitoring purposes
    • Reviewing part specifications to define, create and set up inspection plans

 

Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 

Experience and Training:

  • 1-2 years of experience of quality in a manufacturing environment
  • Blueprint reading
  • Use of measurement tools, including Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)  
  • Intermediate-level Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Familiarity with PPAP processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
  • Broad understanding of materials, manufacturing technologies and processes preferred
  • Proficiency with electronic ERP systems and inspection management systems preferred
