Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a First-Line Supplier Quality Manager (Level K) to join their Supplier Quality Team in Stuart, FL.

This position will manage Supplier Quality Reps (SQR) working with Daher, a major structures supplier based in Stuart, FL. We are looking for someone with aerospace structures experience to join our newly formed structure focused team. This team is focused on driving improved performance across 7 of our major structure’s suppliers. The preferred candidate will be able to develop and present information to suppliers, employees and executives. This role will eventually provide periodic support to teams at Spirit Wichita and Tulsa sites as needed.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations

  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance

  • Provides education and coaching on the Quality System

  • Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Stuart, FL.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years’ experience in the aerospace industry

  • 5+ years’ experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  • 5+ years’ experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role

  • 5+ years’ experience with Project Management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 3+ years’ experience in airplane level systems integration

  • 3+ years’ experience in a production or quality environment

  • 1+ years’ experience in developing, leading, and implementing Quality Management Systems

  • 1+ years’ experience conducting/leading QMS Audits

  • 1+ years’ experience executing quality requirements on Commercial or Major DOD programs

  • Proficient in utilizing all Microsoft Office Suite applications

  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Summary Pay Range: $111,350 - $150,650
