What you will do

• Lead Supplier Lifecycle Management for global Lonza suppliers, managing all incoming requests for supplier onboarding, changes, and exits.

• Execute supplier qualification activities in alignment with global Lonza processes and expectations from Health Authorities.

• Apply analytical and technical logic to determine required actions for quality contracts and TrackWise record changes, factoring in supplier history and audit outcomes.

• Manage and optimize assigned systems (SAP, DMS, TrackWise) to facilitate lean global activities and maintain data integrity.

• Maintain rigorous compliance with company SOPs, specifications, FDA guidelines, and cGMP/cGDP regulations.

• Collaborate across the network to report on monthly KPIs and ensure the progress of supplier deliverables meets tight timelines.

• Ensure process alignment with peers and supervisors to eliminate redundancies and maintain a lean, integrated data exchange with stakeholders.

• Communicate effectively (both directly and indirectly) with suppliers and internal Lonza sites to monitor the progress of technical assessments.

• Demonstrate Lonza Quality Behaviors, prioritizing collaboration, accountability, and professional growth in a culture of excellence.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Life Sciences or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Strong knowledge of cGMP/cGDP requirements and ISO standards specifically related to supplier qualification.

• Proven experience in Supplier Qualification and Supplier Monitoring within a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment.

• Analytical and technical mindset with the ability to connect complex flows and maintain a "big picture" view of large supplier accounts.

• Strong project and time management capabilities, with the ability to work independently or with minimal guidance.

• A proactive communicator who is able to escalate issues promptly and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders.

• Fluent in English (spoken and written); German language skills are considered a plus.
