POSITION SUMMARY:
Supports the manufacturing operations by optimizing the supplier bases quality levels for direct materials and is responsible in working with suppliers to successfully launch new products and manage current products.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS*:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related technical discipline and three to five (3-5) years professional engineering experience in Quality Control/Assurance. *5 years’ experience in related field. *Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Duties will be performed in a combination office/shop environment. Employee may be exposed to environmental/controlled air conditions, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical processes requiring the use of protective equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will occasionally be required to work weekends, holidays, be on call, and travel overnight on occasion.
