Position Summary:

The Supervisor of Warehouse Operations is responsible for directing, developing, and implementing systems that ensure the efficient flow of materials to meet the company’s needs, as well as supporting production and administrative functions. Additionally, the Supervisor ensures compliance within assigned areas. Warehouse Supervisors manage daily tasks, including the receipt of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) materials, material movement activities, and order fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the warehouse team and others in the preparation and movement of materials in the Warehouse and Manufacturing.
  • When problems arise, serve as main contact with clients (PAT, Venture Center, Hamlin and other functions) together with area head.
  • Hosts tier 1 meetings and supports tier 2 meetings daily, provides leadership and guidance on daily duties.
  • Provides assigned team members with scheduled 1 on 1 coaching on productivity and accuracy.
  • Manages receipt and put away of material into the warehouse in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensures proper training of all employees regarding Supply chain SOPs, Safety, Quality and other company procedures.
  • Manages employee time and attendance, provides employee coaching on progression planning and production standards.
  • Ensure storage areas in the warehouse are kept clean, this includes identifying areas where processes could be improved, and work practices amended.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech GMP materials management experience required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is ideal.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required.
  • Supervising associates preferred.

Salary Range: $74,000 - $102,300

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
