Job Summary

Responsible for the day to day management of people within the warehouse and recycling functions, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirement. Train and monitor staff to comply with health, safety, and standard operating procedures. Review and assess compliance with housekeeping standards and continuous improvement within the warehouse.

Primary Duties

  • Supervise warehouse, recycling, material handling, and warehouse truck operations at the Arnold site.

  • Schedule, supervise, and perform setup and configuration in support of the Arnold Conference Center and special events.

  • Schedule, supervise, and perform loading dock operations in support of freight, mail, security and scanning inspections, package delivery and pickup.

  • Schedule, supervise, and perform daily recycling operations and assist with moving materials and destruction of recyclables.

  • Supervise staging of materials and ensure recycling operations are accomplished safely. Documents recycling activities in accordance with performance work statement.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Designated alternate supervisor for mail and grounds personnel during scheduled absences of their supervisors.

  • Create and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to supervisor and key-stakeholders.

  • Research items which arrive with no addressee to determine where the items are to be delivered (i.e., packages, pallets, construction materials).

  • Operate forklift to move and properly place bulk items.

  • Provide material handling equipment and job-related training and ensures training is current in accordance with ServiceSource policies.

  • Ensure warehouse, mail, and recycling operations are accomplished safely.

  • Coordinate and supervise pick-up and delivery of items destined for warehouse storage and disposal.

  • Conduct quality control inspections on a regular basis to ensure work is performed up to standards.

  • Incumbent will complete objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.

  • Communicate job expectations, plan, monitor, and appraise job contributions of subordinate employees while adhering to policies and procedures.

  • Perform backup duties for truck driver as needed.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(S)

  • High school diploma or state certified equivalent is required.

  • 5 years of warehouse experience preferred.

  • One-year supervisory experience preferred.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.

  • Valid driver’s license and good motor vehicle record (MVR) required.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Class B CDL is preferred.

  • Basic typing skills; Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines daily.

  • Maintain a high level of performance with limited supervision.
