SUMMARY: The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for the effectiveness, efficiency, and integrity of the day-to-day operations of the MRO site. The Individual will oversee and optimize our production planning and control processes. In this key role, you'll leverage your expertise to enhance efficiency, ensure timely delivery of products, and maintain high-quality standards across our manufacturing operations. The position is both strategic and detail-oriented, with proven operations, supply chain, and technical experience in an aerospace MRO environment.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and implement production control strategies to streamline operations and minimize waste
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment of production schedules
Monitor production metrics, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Lead planning and inventory management efforts to ensure optimal part flow in the facility
Facilitate problem-solving sessions to address production bottlenecks and enhance process efficiency
Train and mentor team members in production control best practices and methodologies
Delegate and follow up on tasks assigned to production control personnel.
Create and implement process improvements to enhance our customer experience.
Monitor and assist production flow of components.
Conduct daily stand-ups with team and Operations Manager.
Communicate with other team leads daily on support opportunities.
Communicate daily needs and expectations with the Operations Manager.
Communicate production challenges/needs daily to the Operations Manager.
Strong Verbal and written communications skills.
Planning and organization skills necessary to plan, prioritize and coordinate workload of assigned employees within a multiple project setting.
Computer skills necessary to learn and / or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, project, email, and web-based application.
Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
6 years of relevant/technical work experience or
Bachelor’s degree OR an additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree
3+ years of leadership experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and scheduling applications.
Flexibility to changing workloads/priorities based on customer requirements.
Ability to function in fast paced environment in an MRO environment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
8+ years of operational work experience.
6+ years in the aviation industry.
