Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to oversee our production operations, ensuring high standards of productivity, quality, and safety. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the production process, maintain accurate records, and manage line maintenance and staffing effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review daily production orders to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Ensure all positions are staffed before production line start-up.
• Supervise Team Member morning exercises and job rotations to support ergonomics.
• Monitor machinery performance to ensure optimal operation.
• Ensure all workstations pass USDA inspections.
• Promote and enforce safety protocols daily and during monthly safety meetings.
• Manage accurate shipments, inventory rotation, and proper product coding.
• Communicate company benefits and compensation policies to Team Members.
• Foster a positive team environment through encouragement and support.
• Handle human relations functions, including training, retention, and counseling.
• Collaborate with other supervisors to address and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain records of reworked or returned products and provide ongoing quality education.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma required; additional education or vocational training preferred.

• Experience: 1 year in a manufacturing environment and prior supervisory/lead experience preferred or equivalent

• Computer Skills: Basic computer proficiency is beneficial.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities are essential.
• Supervisory Experience: Experience supervising a team performing related tasks.
• Travel: Willingness to travel 1-5 times per year.

Work Schedule:

• A Shift: Works Sunday night through Wednesday morning (6 PM to 6 AM). On their 48-hour week, they also work Saturday night.
• D Shift: Starts Wednesday night through Friday night and every other Saturday (6 PM to 6 AM). B and D shifts alternate Saturday nights.
