Description
We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor with 3–5 years of leadership experience in a blow molding or plastics manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading production teams to meet daily goals in safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity. The successful candidate will have a solid background in supervising operations involving plastic horticulture containers or similar products.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily blow molding operations, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of machine operators, material handlers, and support staff (10–25 employees per shift).
- Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Enforce safety procedures and company policies; conduct safety audits and participate in incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with quality control processes and support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, lean manufacturing, etc.).
- Manage labor and material usage to control costs and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and operational logs.
- Collaborate with other departments such as Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to support plant-wide objectives.
- Support onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of production staff.
Pay Range: 57,000-58,000 (Salary)

Qualifications
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a blow molding or plastics manufacturing environment required.
- Experience in the production of plastic horticulture containers or similar products is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of blow molding machines, thermoplastics (e.g., HDPE, PP), and mold changeovers.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate production teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, lean manufacturing principles, and quality systems.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using production tracking software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor).
