Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing radiation protection support for the safe, cost-effective, and reliable operation of BVPS.Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Plan, organize, direct and control RP resources.
- Ensure adherence to regulations, policies and procedures.
- Ensure RP employees are trained and qualified to perform assigned tasks.
- Support and assist in the operation of BVPS.
- Overview assigned projects.
- Represent department in committees, meetings, and task forces
Education, Experience & Skill Requirements:
- Shall have at least five years of experience in radiation protection at a nuclear reactor facility.
- At least two years of the five years of experience should be related technical training.
- A maximum of four years of the five years of experience may be fulfilled by related technical or academic training. (ANSI N18.1-1971, Section 4.4.4)
- Supervisory experience strongly Preferred
- NRRPT Certification Preferred
