Collins Aerospace is looking for a Quality Supervisor to support all aspects of Quality related to deicing equipment, including incoming material in Receiving & Inspection and Materials Lab testing. This role will provide support across 4 product families including Heated Composites, Elastomerics, Timers, and Pneumatics.

This is an onsite role in Union, West Virginia and is NOT eligible for relocation assistance. This role may require occasional weekend support as needed

What You Will Do

Provide area/program direction to assure quality tasking is accomplished within budget, on time and as defined in planning. Manages the quality function (establishes, oversees, and coordinates quality policy and practice) of the organization.
Perform independent reviews and assessments of area/program performance, including independent technical assessments of systems engineering, Quality Assurance (QA), lessons learned, industry best practices, technology, production and programmatic (cost, schedule, quality and risks).
Identifies and addresses areas where the adequacy of area/program plans, requirements, analyses, risk mitigation plans, certification / verification/validation/qualification approaches and process/product noncompliance have the potential to impact overall mission success. Responsible for continuously reviewing quality strategy, practice, and procedure to ensure the customer requirements are met. Establishes customer relations and communications processes.
Manages Production employees and sets day-to-day operational objectives for team. Ensures practices and procedures are followed by direct reports. Plans and sets day-to-day operational objectives within a clearly defined area of responsibility. Assigns tasks to a team to achieve operational targets, service standards, etc. Provides day-to-day work direction for team, focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity and resolving operational decisions

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience

Qualifications We Prefer

Understanding of basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
Knowledge of technical or operational practices
AS9100, NADCAP, BSI, and other regulatory body experience
Experience working in a collective bargaining unit environment
Proven track record of supervision, cross-training, and leadership capability
Familiarity with systems such as SAP, Agile, and ETQ
Experience with First Article Inspection review and approval and/or Material Lab Testing
Knowledge of FAA requirements including 8130-3 issuance

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
