Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Support Supervisor will supervise and support all Manufacturing Support operations accurately and apply their GMP knowledge and experience to troubleshoot operational issues.

This includes facilitating additional support with external departments, such as Facilities Engineering, Microbiology, Large Scale/Small Scale Manufacturing, and Dispensing as required to maintain and ensure Manufacturing Departments are operational which may require work schedule adjustments.

The supervisor will guide, mentor and coach Manufacturing Support personnel ensuring each associate understands their daily task, performs their task with efficiency, coaches them to exceed all expectations and gives each team member the tools to be successful.

The Supervisor will ensure compliance in all operations that align with all regulatory guidelines, company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Policy Documents (PD). As well as ensuring safety guidelines are followed to reduce risk of injury.

  • Responsible for daily assignments and overall coordination of employees to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and quality of functions. Assists team members in accomplishing their objectives when needed to ensure successful operations.
  • Monitor and maintain the stock of cleanroom garments, work with vendor on procurement and delivery times. Monitor and maintain the stock of cleanroom materials
  • Identify issues and improve workplace efficiency.
  • Supervise, coach, support skill development activities for each team member to ensure staff maintain a high level of compliance to procedures and quality expectations.
  • Review all assigned documentation for entry errors and initiate correction process immediately to ensure all corrections are made in compliance with applicable SOPs. Review employee hours each pay period, allocate hours appropriately, approve timesheets, and submit to payroll

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific or engineering discipline and 4 years’ experience in related cGMP manufacturing operations; or high school diploma and 10 years’ experience, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a lead/leadership role is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Energetic, motivated, and dynamic individual.
  • Must be organized and able to focus in a face-paced, multi-tasked environment and maintain operational efficiency and positive demeanor.

Working Conditions:

  • The ability to demonstrate cleaning techniques, including the ability to lift 50 lbs., work overhead and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Due to the use of HypoChlor respirators (full faced and half faced respirators) are available for use.
  • Additionally, facial hair needs to be maintained short enough to ensure a good seal to properly wear the respirator.
  • This position is considered “Essential Personnel” which requires 7 days a week work coverage even though the company closes, this position is required to ensure the cleaning is completed each and every day.

Salary Range: 101,000 - 126,000

Salary range provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
