Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Coordinate and oversee the activities of the skilled unit. Maintain equipment, tools, and physical plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Supervise and direct the maintenance staff.
Conduct daily visual inspections of equipment, tooling and physical plant. Recommend and supervise repairs.
Recommend to Plant Engineer changes in tooling and equipment to improve reliability, reduce cost, improve safety, and product quality.
Prepares machine shop cost estimate for rolls, dies, etc.
Maintains preventative maintenance and safety records for forklifts, cranes, etc.
