Job Title: Supervisor II Manufacturing 

Salary Range: $82,000 - $102,000/annual; plus bonus eligibility

Summary: Ensure that quality, safety, productivity and cost improvement efforts are met by establishing shift goals and maintain team focus, capitalize on associates' skills, abilities, and differences to implement a continuous improvement manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure policies, procedures, safety and quality standards are met 
  • Plan and assign production staff to meet manufacturing objectives 
  • Help support Safety, Quality Improvement, Cost reduction and Productivity efforts to help drive a continuous improvement environment throughout Core Side operations. Utilize and help train staff and select associates in the use of Lean Six Sigma troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Coordinate, coach, and facilitate team members in meeting quality, production, material usage, and cost standards and goals of the shift and plant. 
  • Help coach and develop Team Leaders and hourly leads to expand their capabilities over time. Train staff and ensure obstacles are eliminated to empower associates to pursue improvement proposals.

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent. BA/BS and manufacturing experience preferred. 
  • 5+ years supervisory experience.  
  • Preferred- Lean/Six Sigma (Black Belt) Necessary- Working knowledge of DMAIC or other standardized/structured problem solving/improvement methodology Necessary- Strong communication skills- verbal (large & small groups) and written.
  • Work around machinery, chemicals, noise and other typical manufacturing environmental factors. 
  • Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per day.
