Summary Job Description:

This position is responsible for supervising the assembly department while coordinating and achieving departmental goals.

Essential Duties:

• Inspects quality of parts that come from the bin storage area
• Maintains quality standards for the assembly department
• Oversees production goals for the assembly department
• Verifies that all jobs are being properly accomplished
• Keeps operations supplied with necessary materials
• Produces reports to maintain production goals
• Maintains employee schedule and reconciles hours daily in Paycom
• Trains new employees and assist as needed
• Assists and answers production/quality questions
• Follows all safety policies and procedures
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 3 years experience in building high end upholstered furniture frames
• Efficient in computer programs such as Microsoft office
• Experience with employee management or some type of supervisory training is preferred.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, walk, and stand on a daily basis
• Must be able to lift/move at least 50 pounds; up to 75 pounds with assistance
