Job Overview:
Construction Superintendent
Atai Construction | Atlanta, GA
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000
Responsibilities
- Read, interpret, and coordinate architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings and specifications.
- Review site development plans and vertical building construction documents.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, OSHA regulations, and quality control standards.
- Manage day-to-day field operations from site mobilization through project completion.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain schedule and quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce short-term and long-term construction schedules.
- Plan and coordinate site logistics, material deliveries, equipment, and workforce allocation.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve field conflicts, design discrepancies, and construction challenges with minimal impact to schedule and budget.
- Conduct daily site inspections to ensure work complies with plans, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Demonstrate strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced construction environment.
