Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Structural Welder/Foreman to join our dynamic team in New Holland, PA. In this role, you will lead a team of welders while ensuring high-quality standards in structural welding projects. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the welding team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Perform structural welding tasks on various materials, including steel and aluminum.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all welds meet industry standards.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Train and mentor junior welders, providing guidance on techniques and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Assist in inventory management and ordering of welding supplies as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural welding, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Welding certifications (e.g., AWS, ASME) are a plus.
