Structural Welder

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Structural Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience welding structural steel components, reading blueprints, and working in a fast-paced construction or fabrication environment. This role requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to produce high-quality welds that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel components using MIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding processes
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Fabricate, assemble, and repair structural metal products
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools safely
• Measure and align workpieces using levels, rulers, and measuring tools
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to complete projects on schedule

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a structural welder or similar welding role
• Proficiency in MIG, FCAW, and Stick welding
• Ability to read blueprints and welding diagrams
• Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and assembly
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
• Welding certifications preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50+ pounds
• Comfortable working at heights and in industrial environments
• Ability to wear required PPE including welding hood, gloves, and safety gear
