Responsibilities

• Perform stick welding on various structural materials
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding specifications.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings for each job.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time.
• Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding preferred.
• Proven experience as a structural stick welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in stick welding (AWS or equivalent) is a plus.
