Job Description:

BCC, a Parsons Company, is looking for an amazingly talented Senior CAD Designer / Drafter to join our team! In this role you will get to to work on transportation infrastructure projects for road and bridge design for major projects in the region.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Utilizes a CAD workstation to prepare difficult and complex layout and design drawings utilizing theoretical and practical design knowledge.
• Performs complex drafting tasks efficiently and accurately both independently and as part of a team.
• Interprets and ensures conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Understands and utilizes more advanced software to complete assignments.
• Works closely with Engineers and other disciplines to ensure coordinated designs.
• Meets layout requirements and develops alternate design layouts as required.
• Reviews supplier data and supplier drawings, as required.
• Develops and reviews orthographic (2D) and/or isometric (3D) drawings.
• Performs checking procedures as appropriate to the discipline and assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Provides input and technical guidance for mentoring lower-level Designers working on the same and other projects.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited technical institute (or equivalent).
• 10 years of related Roads and Infrastructure, structural and bridge drafting experience.
• Proficiency in Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, AutoCAD and working knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and/or Bluebeam.

• Must be able to produce professional drawings and reports for presentation and review

Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96
