What You will be doing.
At Lockheed Martin, our Structural Assemblers play a crucial role in building components and assemblies for some of the world’s most advanced aircraft, including the F-35 Lightning II, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, and the C-130J Super Hercules. As part of our dynamic team across multiple sites, you'll contribute directly to our mission of delivering cutting-edge aerospace solutions that support freedom around the globe.

Key Responsibilities
• Assemble sheet metal detail and assembly parts using a variety of fasteners and hand tools, following approved methods from blueprints and engineering specifications.

• Combine completed fabricated and machined parts using sealants or adhesives.

• Utilize tooling, fixtures, and shop aids to assemble components and assemblies accurately.

• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery.

• Participate in company training programs, guided by subject matter experts, to develop your skills and advance your career.

• Perform other duties as assigned to meet production goals.

Basic Qualifications

• Experience with reading and understanding technical documentation such as work orders or build documents.

• Experience or education in any of the following technical fields; Auto mechanics, Carpentry, Auto body repair, Metal fabrication, HVAC, Welding, Fabrication, Assembly, and Manufacturing.

• Experience working with hand tool, power tools, and measuring devices.

Desired skills

• Experience reading and interpreting written specifications, blueprints and engineering drawings.

• Military experience in a career field that aligns with the basic qualifications for this position.

• Aircraft Assembly / Repair experience.

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
