Bloomington Crushed Stone - Rogers Group Inc – Bloomington, IN

Full-Time – Second Shift 2 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Wages starting at $25.00/hr. Experienced candidates may be eligible to start at higher pay. Pay will be determined based on experience and skill set.

Bloomington Crushed Stone is an underground and surface limestone mine/quarry seeking a Stripping Truck Operator for our operation located in Bloomington, IN. This operator is responsible for hauling away the overburden material that sits on top of the usable stone or mineral deposit. This role helps prepare new mining areas and supports efficient production by working closely with other equipment operators. The position also involves performing equipment inspections and maintaining a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

• Operate off-road haul trucks to transport overburden, rock, or other materials.
• Assist in clearing overburden from active and future production areas.
• Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies
• Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management
• Work in coordination with equipment operators and supervisors to maintain an efficient haul cycle.
• Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency
• Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment
• Other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications:

• Individual must be dedicated to always operating safely
• Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry
• Must be able to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment
• Ability to compete pre-operation inspection paperwork
• Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not required. RGI will train.
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekend when necessary
• Team player attitude
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
