Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager - Labor Services

Salary: $126,000 - $169,000
Schedule: Hybrid schedule of up to 2 days remote per week after 6 months in the role

Focus: The Strategic Sourcing Manager for Labor Services is a global sourcing subject matter expert to both internal and external clients. You will be accountable for providing specific direction across labor subcategories such as general mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation labor, industrial cleaning, scaffolding-insulating-painting, and equipment rentals sourcing. In addition, you will develop, advocate, and implement sourcing and negotiation strategies for key spend areas to achieve short- and long-term savings targets. You will be accountable for overseeing the category spend and accountable to deliver on cost savings goals and objectives. You will also be accountable for associated supplier relationship management and risk management tied with their category and subcategory responsibilities.
Strategic Sourcing Manager Essential Job Functions:
Bachelor’s degree*; Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering discipline preferred; Master’s degree preferred
5+ years of sourcing experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting; experience with labor services preferred
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Ability to manage the strategic sourcing process globally, along with the negotiation of strategic supplier agreements to maximize value and drive cost reduction
Demonstrated ability to quickly assess key points and communicate clearly and concisely to key internal and external stakeholders as well as senior leadership
Must possess strong organizational, time management and project management skills as well as demonstrate a high attention to detail, strong decision making with the ability to develop creative solutions to mitigate problems.
Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers License; up to 10-20% of travel.
