Summary of Position:
Provide technical support and assistance in the implementation of projects, process changes, and process improvements in manufacturing. Assist the Manufacturing Engineer to create, document, develop and implement manufacturing processes. Participate in continuous improvement events. Investigate and execute real time problem resolutions. Support operations with troubleshooting, manufacturing, and documentation.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides the Manufacturing Engineering department with support resources to maintain and document existing processes, programs, tooling, and standards to satisfy production requirements
Experience/Skill Requirements:
2 years experience in a manufacturing environment required. Education in lieu of experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. required
Ability to accurately measure and read calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, etc. required
Microsoft Office software experience required
Assembly, Test, CNC Machining and Programming experience preferred
Experience with modeling, drafting, and/or CNC programming software preferred.
