Qualifications

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

1. Positive “Can-Do” attitude;
2. Self-motivated with the ability to stay focused on tasks or jobs to be done;
3. Ability to work both independently and on a team;
4. Must have Leadership skills;
5. Ability to read and follow complex instructions;
6. Good mechanical skills;
7. Good shop math skills (general math problems using shop applications and terms in the problems). Math skills must be equivalent to high school level math.
8. Have and maintain a valid driver’s license
9. Crane certification
10. Commitment to quality workmanship;
11. Able to read work orders, spec sheets and use a computer;
12. Ability to work diligently to meet production goals;
13. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

This position is responsible for:

1. Ensures equipment is in safe operating condition;
2. Reviews computerized work list for loading and locating material and prioritizes orders;
3. Operating fork truck to load/unload conveyors and move bales in yard;
4. Operating shuttle to move 40+ feet trailers of material;
5. Receiving and tagging seamless and hollows;
6. Building loads to transfer to other division;
7. Maintaining accurate inventory;
8. Conducting monthly inventory audits.
