About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead a fast-paced optical retail location. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive sales performance, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and build a team culture rooted in service, style, and precision.
What You'll Do
- Lead all daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, staffing, and floor management
- Coach, develop, and motivate a team of sales associates and opticians to hit individual and store-level goals
- Drive revenue through strong product knowledge, upselling techniques, and a consultative sales approach
- Ensure every customer receives a personalized, high-quality experience from frame selection through dispensing
- Manage inventory, visual merchandising, and product replenishment to brand standards
- Partner with the district or regional manager on performance reviews, hiring decisions, and business planning
- Handle customer escalations with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain compliance with optical retail standards, safety protocols, and company policies
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of retail management experience, preferably in optical, fashion, or specialty retail
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and retain a high-performing team
- Experience with optical dispensing, frame fitting, or working alongside licensed opticians is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
- Flexible availability including weekends
