Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on steel components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Inspect and assess welds for quality and compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve welding issues.
• Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document work progress and maintain accurate records of completed projects.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of welding techniques.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a TIG welder, with a focus on steel welding.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) is a plus.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4 PM-2:30 AM, optional OT on Fridays

Pay: $24-$27.50/hr. DOE and shift differential
