Summary Of Position

• Demonstrates proficiency in all areas of Steel Shop duties
• Lead a team of up to 7 Team Members in the process of production work
• Responsible for the completion of tasks according to production schedule
• Responsible for the safety of Team Members in the Steel Shop
• Responsible for the quality of the product
• Responsible for using materials efficiently and properly
• Basic knowledge of Gage Brothers disciplinary system.
• Mediates disagreements between Team Members and bring incidents to supervision when necessary.
• Follows proper procedure for reporting safety and personnel issues to supervision. 
• Train new hires on basic skills
• Knowledgeable in the use of all equipment required for their areas
• Maintains a clean work area
• Complete other tasks as assigned

• Contributes to company morale and goals through a positive attitude and commitment to quality
• Follows company policies at all times
• Ensures a work environment that is safe and free of unlawful harassment and discrimination
• Demonstrates ability and willingness to learn and use new procedures, equipment and technology as needed.
• Meets attendance requirements according to company policy

Requirements

Must have experience MIG welding.
Must have experience leading a team.
English and Spanish language skills preferred but not required.
