Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed steel shop drawings and fabrication drawings based on project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards.
• Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to create accurate detailing.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines.
• Assist in resolving any design or fabrication issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions for future reference.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in steel detailing.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Steel Detailer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla) and other detailing tools.
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Relevant certifications or degrees in drafting, engineering, or a related field are a plus.
