As a Station Operator II, you will play a critical role in keeping our facilities running safely and efficiently while supporting the delivery of energy that communities depend on every day. Working in a dynamic operations environment, you will operate and monitor station equipment, respond to changing system demands, perform inspections and maintenance activities, and contribute to a strong culture of teamwork, compliance, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do:
Safely operate station prime movers, compressors, valves, and auxiliary equipment, including start-ups, shutdowns, load adjustments, alarm response, and routine operational activities.
Monitor operating conditions, pressures, alarm set points, and system performance, conducting regular inspections to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
Configure and adjust station operating modes to meet changing system and customer demands while maintaining operational integrity.
Inspect, operate, and support the maintenance of station systems, including air, fuel, cooling water, oil, filtration, liquid storage, and safety systems.
Troubleshoot equipment issues, assist with repairs, and collaborate with team members to resolve operational challenges and improve equipment performance.
Complete operational reports, logs, and documentation accurately while ensuring compliance with company procedures, SOPs, O&M Manuals, and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to work planning, budgeting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives while fostering a strong team environment and actively supporting safety programs.
Who You Are:
A valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
A high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of directly relevant training and experience.
Working Conditions:
Primarily field-oriented (outdoor) with specific office (indoor) functions for training, meetings, and documentation of required tasks dictated by the Department of Transportation and other regulatory agencies for which Enbridge must comply.
Must be able to perform physically demanding activities in all types of weather conditions.
Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, on call & standby, and travel overnight as required.
Currently resides or is willing to relocate within 30 miles of the assigned reporting location.
Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to):
Include but are not limited to Grasping, kneeling, light-moderate lifting (objects up to 50 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read the fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility can ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet, legs, and/or hands and arms.
