This is a DeSoto, TX Overhaul Manufacturing Engineer position.

This position will maintain overall product responsibility for detailed parts and subassemblies. These responsibilities specifically include but are not limited to the following:

  • Troubleshoots day-to-day process problems, initiates solutions, and follows-up to evaluate effectiveness
  • Adhere to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc.
  • Detailed part/sub-assembly integrity
  • Provide technical leadership for Engineering Technicians
  • Detail Part/sub-assembly Configuration setup and maintenance
  • Enterprise Change Request (ECR) implementation
  • Shop Floor Information System (SFIS) traveler setup and maintenance
  • SFIS Operational Instruction Sheet (OIS) final approval
  • Detailed part and Sub-assembly build process
  • SFIS RED dimension buy-off for detailed part/Sub-assembly
  • Technical support for test reject investigations
  • Technical support for Project Management
  • Technical support for Customer Property repairs
  • Technical support other facilities
  • Technical support for Overhaul Inspection Standards (OHIS)
  • Technical support for non-conforming material (dispositioning)
  • Support for Operation's Value Stream

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of Engineering experience or 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Must have worked in a manufacturing environment
  • Good language and communication skills

Summary Pay Range:

$77,264.00 - $115,896.00
