The Senior Warehouse Coordinator position will perform the following duties:

Responsible for operating forklift in warehouse freezer, observing all safety regulations and ensuring all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards are met while maintaining the efficient flow of product through the receiving, selection, shipping, and inventory processes. Provides administrative support for this area including the inventory, communication, paperwork and system data entry. Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and posts totals to inventory/property records. Verifies and records computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Handles all matters relating to inventory control, checking quality of designated product, taking daily inventory on produce and product spoiled. Answers questions and solves issues based on extensive warehouse and company specific knowledge. May assist with training. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
 

• Operate a stand-up forklift as needed by the warehouse operation.
• Schedules and confirms all receiving and shipping for site.
• Read and interpret a lot of information quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
• Provides administrative support for this area including the communication, paperwork and system data entry.
• Perform assigned duties efficiently to reduce spoilage and positively contribute to profit margin.  
•  Check quality of produce and ensure poor quality product is removed before any customer purchases.
•  Sort through pallets for bad product.  

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11am - 730pm

Required Qualifications

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Required Experience: 1 - 3 Years, Warehouse distribution work experience involving use of forklift, admin support and data entry.

Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position. Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift. Able to lift and stack product between 10-35 pounds and up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout shift. Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e. cooler, freezer and dry. Ability to withstand cold temperatures. Pass pre-employment drug test

Preferred Qualifications

Required Education: Assocaite Degree/2 Year Technical

Required Experience: 3 - 5 Years, Warehouse distribution work experience involving use of forklift, admin support and data entry, as well as using a motorized pallet jack. Foodservice distribution and/or experience managing inventory.
