Sr. Supply Chain Manager

Position Overview:
The Sr. Supply Chain Manager will be a key member of the Operations Team and will be responsible for coordinating logistics, optimizing processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that all supply chain activities align with company goals. The Supply Chain Manager will align with sales, production, and finance, to achieve efficiency and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with business objectives aiming to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase quality.
- Optimize and ensure accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs including daily material transaction accuracy, cycle count programs and physical inventories.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and avoid stock outs.
- Manage warehousing, transportation, and distribution operations.
- Optimize routing and scheduling to ensure timely delivery leading to 100% on time delivery to customers.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPI’s) related to supply chain performance.
- Identify and address inefficiencies within the supply chain to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Hire, train, and supervise staff involved in various stages of the supply chain, from purchasing to logistics.
- Direct and manage warehouse and logistics operations in assigned business area to ensure that the right material is at the right place at the right time and to minimize non-value-added operating cost.
- Negotiating freight rates with International, small parcel & LTL carriers
- Direct and manage planning processes to optimize performance by cycle time, site performance and inventory investment.
- Utilize ERP to maximize production scheduling process.
- Lead daily scheduling meeting with operations team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or related field (Masters/MBA is a plus)
- Minimum 10 years of total experience, including minimum of 5 years’ experience in multiple Product Supply disciplines as well as a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for vendor and internal team collaboration.
- Ability to influence other members of the organization to help achieve goals and increase performance.
- Ability to build relationships and partnerships within the organization.
- Ability to lead projects of high complexity with limited to no direction.
- Demonstrated advanced problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft tools, specifically Excel
- Expert in ERP applications for supply chain management, SAP knowledge preferred.
