Position Summary
As a Senior Security Engineer on NVR’s Red Team, you will play a critical role in simulating real-world attacks to identify weaknesses in our systems, networks, and applications. You’ll collaborate with engineering, cloud, and business teams to strengthen our defenses and drive a culture of security-first thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute advanced Red Team operations, including adversary emulation, social engineering, and lateral movement.
Conduct penetration testing of internal and external systems, cloud environments, and web applications.
Develop custom tools, scripts, and exploits to simulate sophisticated threat actor techniques.
Collaborate with Blue Team and SOC to improve detection and response capabilities.
Provide detailed reports and executive summaries of findings, including risk ratings and remediation guidance.
Contribute to the development of threat scenarios and tabletop exercises for incident response readiness.
Stay current on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and offensive security techniques.
Mentor junior Red Team members and contribute to the evolution of offensive security practices.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in offensive security, Red Teaming, or penetration testing.
Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or equivalent certification/training.
Proficiency with tools such as Cobalt Strike, Metasploit, Burp Suite, and custom scripting (Python, PowerShell).
Deep understanding of Windows and Linux internals, Active Directory attacks, and cloud exploitation techniques.
Certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, GPEN, or CRTO are highly preferred.
Experience with MITRE ATT&CK, Purple Teaming, and threat emulation frameworks.
