Job Overview:

Job Duties

  • Lead failure investigations, establish root cause and implement corrective action.
  • Act as the Lead Internal Auditor, executing the audit plan, training others, and communicating audit results as necessary.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to the quality system that result in net poisitive quality outcomes/decreased costs.
  • Conduct process stability and capability studies for existing processes to review results and recommend changes.
  • Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and generate/submit PPAP documents to customers.
  • Determine and apply appropriate Measurement System Analysis tools.
  • Communicate directly with customers and suppliers on quality issues.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Technical report writing (i. e. FRACAS, Investigations, Corrective Actions)
  • Excellent communication skills in written and verbal form for tedchnical/quality issues.
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude (i.e. intuitive understanding of mechanical processes)
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings (GD&T)
  • Green Belt or experience with six sigma methodologies preferred but not required

This is a manufacturing/industrial role only (non-software/CS) and requires at least 5 years of experience.

Individuals with prior aerospace/aviation experience will be highly considered for the position.
