Job Profile Title: Sr. Product Engineering Manager

How will you make an impact?-

Jabil is seeking a Senior Product Engineering Manager to play a critical role in driving transformative growth within our Cloud and Enterprise Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to developing end customer product solutions. In this role, you will lead the technical direction of complex programs, ensuring decisions are guided by the needs of our customers, manufacturing operations, and service organizations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including engineering, product management, program management, manufacturing, test, and quality teams—to deliver innovative, high-quality product solutions that meet the stringent performance, reliability, and scalability standards of Jabil’s world-class manufacturing environment and our global customers.


What will you do? -

  • Lead the technical direction of programs, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and service readiness.

  • Oversee and ensure successful delivery of all development efforts for new product introductions and sustaining engineering across server, storage, and networking platforms.

  • Build, organize, and lead cross-functional teams to drive technical solutions across multiple disciplines, including hardware, software, firmware, performance, and interoperability.

  • Empowered to make informed, data-driven decisions related to product quality, features, and tradeoffs that directly impact customer experience and satisfaction.

  • Evaluate how technical decisions influence business outcomes and collaborate closely with business unit leaders to optimize product investments, cost, and time-to-market.

  • Ensure products under development fully comply with defined requirements, specifications, and expected behavioral standards throughout the product lifecycle

  • Own and drive preventative actions to close gaps in end‑to‑end processes or capabilities, ensuring sustainable, long‑term improvements.



How will you get here? -

Education:

• BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field is required

Experience:

  • Must have hands-on development experience in the area of Enterprise server, storage or networking

  • 12-15 years of experience in an engineering product development is required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing an engineering team; managing remote, multi-national and geographically dispersed teams is required

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Demonstrated excellence in product development and program management, with the ability to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary initiatives.

  • Expert knowledge of Agile development methodologies, with a proven track record of driving organizational and operational transformation.

  • Deep experience in process development and continuous process improvement within complex engineering environments.

  • Proven ability to lead and scale complex, end‑to‑end processes across multiple functions and areas of technical expertise.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as required.



Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree is preferred

• In addition to Hardware experience, Software and firmware experience is a nice to have
