Sr. Procurement Specialist - MRO

You will be the end-to-end procurement lead for assigned Maintenance, Repairs and Operations (MRO) categories. You will manage supplier selection, contract negotiation and execution of MRO items at favorable prices consistent with quality, quantity and delivery specifications. You will help develop and maintain new sources of supply, supplier relations and the identification of alternate or substitute sources of supply.

You Will:

  • Lead the category for assigned MRO areas. Responsibilities will include: RFP, RFI, RFQ, negotiation, contracting, innovation, cost savings ideation, supplier relationship management, plant project execution.
  • Identify and analyze cost savings, quality and productivity improvements.
  • Lead the training and deployment of category strategies across Procurement to increase productivity, reduce complexity, improve quality and identify innovation opportunities.
  • Support data gathering, analysis and opportunity assessment for Supplier Collaboration activities inclusive of cost modeling (i.e. clean sheeting, benchmarking total cost of ownership, etc.).
  • Lead Supplier Excellence scorecard process for assigned suppliers/categories.
  • Drive working capital projects
  • Manage appropriate internal systems: SAP, Clarizen, CMD, and Power BI

You Have:

  • 3 or more years in Purchasing, Supply Chain or Finance roles
  • BS/BA in General Business, Supply Chain, Finance or a related major
  • Strong negotiation, project management and problem solving skills
  • Experience with clean sheeting, cost modeling, and total cost of ownership analysis
  • Experience with eSourcing and Supplier Diversity
  • Influence management, project management, and team building skills
  • Computer software experience, including SAP, MS Excel, Accolade, Right Angle, Scout, Power BI and other analysis software.
  • Availability for travel approximately 10% of time
