Job Overview:

Ingredion Inc. seeks Sr Process Engineer in Indianapolis, IN

Job Duties: Implement and execute of the overall wet milling process for our plant. Monitor the process conditions and for providing troubleshooting and technical support to ensure that safety, quality, production and cost goals are being met. Manage specific wet milling processes and operations. Control production activities and troubleshoot current operations to meet cost and production goals. Leverage engineering and management skills to supervise the implementation of the wet milling process, maintain International Organization of Standardization (ISO) certifications and find opportunities to improve quality for customer satisfaction while ensuring safe work practices and procedures. Oversee the wet milling process to ensure that it is run efficiently. Work with heavy machinery involved in the separation of refined corn products. Be a process expert at the steeping and wet milling of corn process, and other biproducts (including gluten, germ, fiber and steep water). Be involved in projects that make these processes safe, efficient, and cost-effective. Identify key performance indicators to help the team understand if they are operating efficiently, as well to execute process improvements to help the team deliver key performance indicators.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Biotechnology, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) SAP PM Module Knowledge; (2) ISO 22300, ISO 14001, ISO 22001, and ISO 9001; (3) Implement Maintenance and Reliability processes; (4) Develop and execute CAPEX and Lean Six Sigma projects; (5) Corn Wet Milling, Starch Treatment and Drying; (6) Utilities knowledge; (7) Tribology and Lubrication; (8) Maintenance Budget Control; and (9) Failure Mode and Effect Analysis. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

This pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data and applicable bargaining agreement (if any).

Incentive Compensation:

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Ingredion Annual Incentive Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus.
