Responsibilities

• Design and develop tooling solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify tooling needs and specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new tooling projects.
• Oversee the prototyping and testing of new tooling designs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during production.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tooling performance.
• Maintain documentation related to tooling designs, modifications, and performance metrics.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in tooling technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in tooling design and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
