As an Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer/Project Leader (PL) you will be responsible to support and drive key OpEx projects in support of our New Product Delivery (NPD) process. Working closely with our design teams and global manufacturing sites, you will help drive efficiencies in project execution. Success requires a passion for manufacturing as well as a solid understanding of all the teams required to execute NPD successfully. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with proven “big picture” vision, problem solving and change management experience. This candidate will also have a well-rounded work experience in project management, operations, manufacturing engineering, and execution of new product development (operations focused).

Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead indirect cross-functional teams to drive change and implement new processes and systems needed to successfully manufacture products to meet the needs of a rapidly growing business
Drive overall Manufacturing process planning to deliver consistent site readiness within our global NPD programs
Deliver step improvement in line design concepts and creation – 7 flows
Ensure consistency in early estimates on manufacturing routings and capital requirements
Drive cultural improvement in PFMEA and Process Control Plans globally
Lead discussions and consideration for potential process automation and related product design requirements
Track emerging technologies for consideration and adoption within console manufacturing
Drive global improvements in DFMA through consistent engagement and coaching of our global teams
Develop KPIs, action plans, and report out on process results & improvements
Communicate, both verbally and written, to ensure all groups are working toward the goal of timely project completion. Regularly make presentations of project status for various levels of the organization
Maintain a strategic cross-functional mindset and understand how team decisions will impact the entire organization

Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum five years related experience in a product manufacturing environment with demonstrated new product introductions
Understanding of manufacturing line design, lean principles and tools, as well as process and material flow strategies
Effective change manager with proven ability to quickly establish credibility with different business units, influence project teams, and persuade professionals at all levels
Success in managing multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions and working effectively in a matrix environment.
Have excellent organizational skills and possess knowledge of production systems and techniques
Must possess strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills in an executive setting.
Track record of success with cross functional teams, driving change and implementing new processes that significantly improve team effectiveness.
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or Engineering Technology, or equivalent years of directly related experience
Experience with 3D product and process modeling software
Ability to travel up to 25% internationally
Desired Qualifications:
International work experience and exposure
Experience in advanced Assembly processes: Error-Proofing, Controls, and Automation
Experience in Fabrication processes: Machining, Forging, Heat Treating, Metal Stamping, and Welding is a plus
Experience in Injection Molding is a plus
Understanding or experience in Industrial Engineering principles and application
Thorough understanding of problem-solving methodologies used in determining root cause and formulating corrective action(s) - i.e. 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure
Advanced project management skills and PMP or PMI Certification
