What does this role look like?
Our facility in Titusville, FL has an immediate opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer focusing on providing technical documentation for Special Weapons Ordnance Publications (SWOP).

Key activities you will accomplish in this role:

• Create procedural change requests ensuring technical accuracy and thoroughness of proposed changes for processing documentation. These changes can include: Technical Manuals, Ordnance Documents (OD) and Special Weapons Ordnance Publications (SWOP).
• Ensure proposed and approved changes are captured in all related technical documents and perform a technical review of documentation against the source data.
• Provide procedural support for the Strategic Weapons System (SWS) facility documentation proofing and activation as well as reconcile procedures with electrical and mechanical engineering drawings, resolve discrepancies with cognizant individuals and groups.
• Be closure oriented and able to work under general guidance using soundness of technical judgment and overall accuracy.
• Independently provide solutions to a variety of technical problems while following and maintaining requirements.
• Collaborate across multiple organizations including Engineering, Logistics, Operations and Safety, as well as US Navy personnel to derive the required technical source data needed to create draft, preliminary and final documentation.
• Represent the organization to customers and program partners at meetings, working groups, and other venues.
• Derive reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement.
• Provide input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education.
• An active DoD Secret or higher clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
• Prior Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) or equivalent missile or re-entry program experience.

Desired skills

• Strategic Weapons Facility (SWF) re-entry body operations (RBO) processes.
• Proficient in MS Office tools, XML.
• Demonstrated good written communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management, subcontractors and customers.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative team environment and to build consensus among peers and effective relationships with team members.
• Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
• Existing DoD Top Secret clearance.

Ability to work remotely

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Security Clearance Information

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $93,800 - $162,610. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
