Position Title: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Compensation Range: Base: $100,000-$110,000; Bonus: 10%

Position Overview

This position will be responsible for identifying and implementing improvements for production processes, safety, and quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes through procedures, equipment, and tooling
  • Develop and maintain work instructions for standard work along with engineering changes, related drawings, BOM & routings
  • Make changes to tool drawings and specify tools
  • Modify and revise the layout of equipment and departments
  • Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings
  • Troubleshoot electronic assemblies
  • Maintain Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for equipment and processes
  • Provide product development support in the form of design input and costing
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Capable of troubleshooting electronics and electrical systems
  • Support lean manufacturing initiatives and implement changes as requested
  • Identify and implement cost reductions pertaining to tooling, machining and production processes
  • Resolve production issues and delays while working with cross-functional teams
  • Develop detailed layouts for equipment, processes, and workflow
  • Research and develop new processes, equipment, and products to optimize performance
  • Manage engineering projects, CAPEX projects, and equipment installations
  • Ensure all processes in their plant specific area meet ISO 9001 requirements
  • Other duties or functions as assigned

Qualifications

Language Capabilities

  • Fluent in English (read, write, and speak)

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Technical Requirements

  • AutoCAD experience preferred
  • Operating knowledge of ERP systems, SAP or JDE experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter with the ability to define and resolve problems with minimal direction

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 7 years engineering experience, manufacturing experience in a production and machining environment strongly preferred

Mobility & Travel Requirements

• Up to 10%

Pay Range:

$101,681.00-$118,784.00
