Hyve Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on, results-driven individual with proven communication skills and a strong work ethic to work in a challenging, fast-paced, energetic environment to ensure that customers’ build requirements are understood and disseminated; roll up feedback and respond appropriately to these requests. Manage and execute predefined processes.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Sr. Manager of Technical Program Management to lead a dynamic team supporting customer programs through the entire NPI lifecycle—from hardware release to mass production. This leadership role will manage a team of Technical Program Managers while working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to deliver mission-critical hardware on time and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Team & People Leadership

  • Manage and develop a team of 5–7 Program Managers overseeing complex customer programs and manufacturing build schedules.
  • Indirectly lead a cross-functional extended team of 5–10 personnel (e.g., NPI Supervisors, Process & Systems Engineers, Test Engineers, Quality, and Planning PMs).
  • Provide mentorship, performance coaching, and career development for Technical program managers.

Customer Engagement & Escalation

  • Act as primary customer interface for new projects and delivery escalations.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment between internal teams and customers to resolve critical path blockers.

Process & Operational Excellence

  • Define and implement best practices, tools, and templates to scale TPM execution across the organization.
  • Continuously identify areas for process improvement and standardization across builds and product transfers.

Program Governance & Execution

  • Oversee scheduling, planning, and execution of customer NPI builds and interval development.
  • Guide Technical Program Managers in:
    • Bill of Material review and accuracy
    • Coordinating DFM/DFA reviews and feedback loops with design teams
    • Managing daily build and delivery status updates internally and externally
    • Ensuring comprehensive manufacturing process instructions (MPI) and shop floor readiness
    • Leading test log reviews and driving root cause corrective actions (RCCA)
    • Enabling seamless transition from NPI to mass production
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (advanced degree a plus)
  • 3-5 years of people management experience leading technical or program management teams
  • 5+ years of program or product management experience, ideally in hardware, manufacturing, or EMS (electronics manufacturing services)
  • Strong understanding of NPI, DFM/DFA, manufacturing/test processes, and product lifecycle transitions
  • Proven success in a customer-facing role with strong escalation management skills
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Logistics
  • Effective project management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, ERP/BOM systems, and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence a plus)

Salary: $163,000K-186,000K+
