Job Summary:
Raytheon is seeking an experienced Program Management, Planning & Scheduling professional to join the Planning & Scheduling Department. You will be assigned to support a program within the Advanced Technology portfolio of programs and will be the focal point for matters pertaining to schedule on the program or programs. You will be directly accountable for adherence to Raytheon and government policies in scheduling and Earned Value.
What You Will Do:
Support development and maintenance of program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project, based on requirements and scope provided by the customer.
Detail plan and maintain the IMS throughout the program’s lifecycle that incorporates contractual and programmatic changes into the IMS to maintain realistic current program management baselines.
Ensure the IMS is compliant with government customer requirements throughout all program phases.
Ensure the IMS is resource loaded for applicable scope with target budgets and demonstrates thorough cost and schedule integration.
Lead and conduct detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance.
The weekly/monthly business rhythms will require communication (electronically and verbally) of schedule status including but not limited to, results of critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis and the results of “what-if” exercises to the Planning Lead as well as Program Manager, customers, and senior management as needed.
Support EAC and LRE processes as they relate to the Program IMS.
Manage the development and maintenance of the Program Master Phasing Schedule using Milestones Professional Software.
This position will be full-time onsite in Tucson, AZ
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in STEM, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study and 10 + years of professional experience in Program Management and/or Program Planning & Scheduling or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 7 years’ experience.
Prior work experience with Integrated Product Development System (IPDS)
Prior work experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar business process.
Prior experience managing a team of professionals.
Prior work experience supporting the integration of subcontractors and operations into program plans, schedules, and financial tracking.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Prior work experience with DCMA and/or JSA audit
Prior work experience leading planning effort on a program with external EV reporting and DFARS EV clause invoked.
Prior work experience in managing the development of complex program plans in accordance with the statement of work and program strategy.
Experience with Microsoft Project Server
Experience in Agile planning and execution
Demonstrated customer facing experience in leadership role.
Experience in subcontracts management and MRP systems.
Familiarity with any of the following: Achieving Process Excellence (APEX) SAP/R3, forProject, Microframe Project Manager (MPM) or similar EVMS tools and software applications such as Oracle ERP, Deltek Cobra and Deltek MPM Connect.
Knowledge and experience in assisting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in planning, scheduling and cost estimating tasks
PM Level 5 or higher certification and Six Sigma Certification

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
