Sr Manager Maintenance

Position Overview
We’re seeking a hands-on, forward-thinking Senior Manager of Maintenance to lead the strategic oversight of equipment reliability, maintenance operations, and system performance at our high-volume, high-impact manufacturing facility (>$99M annual operations). This role is essential in driving uptime, efficiency, and continuous improvement, in a complex, automated environment.
You’ll lead a skilled maintenance team responsible for ensuring our production lines, automated systems, and utilities operate at peak performance. Ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in industrial maintenance, a passion for lean practices, and the leadership ability to develop both people and systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Oversee maintenance, repair, and installation of production equipment, tooling, automation systems, and plant utilities to ensure safe and reliable manufacturing.
• Drive Uptime and Reliability: Establish and refine preventative and predictive maintenance programs, using data-driven strategies such as MTBF/MTTR tracking and condition-based monitoring.
• Support Capital Projects: Partner with engineering, operations, and OEMs on equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and validation of new manufacturing systems.
• Promote Operator Ownership: Champion the transition to frontline operator engagement in machine upkeep, basic maintenance tasks, and 6S practices.
• Reduce Downtime: Proactively identify and stock critical spare parts and long lead-time components to mitigate risks and reduce emergency repairs.
• Enable Continuous Improvement: Use structured problem-solving methods and OpEx tools to reduce maintenance costs, improve equipment performance, and support lean initiatives.
• Develop Talent: Build a high-performing team through coaching, skills development, and a culture of accountability and engagement.
• Ensure Compliance & Safety: Maintain rigorous safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance in all maintenance activities.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge of automated manufacturing systems and industrial maintenance best practices.
• Familiarity with MES systems (e.g., Apriso), CMMS tools, SPC, and machine learning applications.
• Strong understanding of 6S, TPM, and lean manufacturing principles.

Leadership & Communication:

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple priorities, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Target Hiring Range

Annual Salary: USD 126,034.00 - USD 173,297.00
