Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a Design Sr. Manager who is reporting to the Engineering Head for substation automation RCP department,

The candidate will focus on substation automation design.

The primary responsibility of the role includes (But not limited to):

Good Knowledge of Substation Automation, Protection philosophy, Protection logic & control logic.  (11 to 765 kV)

Should be proficient in using AutoCAD, Engineering Base & E3 tools and further office tools like Excel, word & PPT etc.,

Should have knowledge of creating BOM in line with various specifications to support Pre bidding stage.

Knowledge of various OEM Numerical relays & Auxiliary relays. 

Should be in a position to understand the switch yard equipment/ automation components drawings for coordination.

Knowledge of designing LV, HV & EHV Control, metering and relay Panels.

Maintaining and Retain records of executed jobs in folder/drives.

Knowledge of releasing manufacturing Documents/ Drawings.

Willing to travel frequently to the site for customer drawing discussion / attaining approval.

Should have good communication skills ( Must be proficient in English – Read, write & Speak),

Comprehension in Hindi language is advanced for this position.

Willing to upgrade the technical knowledge time to time in terms of workaround and latest techniques.

 Key Elements of the role: Should be a team player.

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

10+ years of Experience in design tools & Skilled in Substation Automation philosophy.

Basic ERP knowledge (preferably in SAP).

Must be proficient in English – Read, write & Speak, Understand and Speak in the local language.

Comprehension in Hindi language is advanced for this position

Should possess good interpersonal skills as the job requires frequent interactions with cross-function team and customer.
